Platform Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy is to provide transparency and explain to individuals how StackOne Technologies. (“StackOne”) processes, collects and uses data when your information is submitted to StackOne to provide access and support to the StackOne web application and its associated API(s).

This StackOne Privacy Policy covers the Services that StackOne provides to StackOne customers to assist them with the integration of various tools into their products using the StackOne web application and the associated StackOne unified API(s).

This Privacy Policy does not cover any services or activity on the StackOne website at www.stackone.com.

Information that we collect via our Services

We may collect certain information, including personal information, from you as a data controller.

  • Information you provide to us: Personal data such as name, email address, phone number, and other relevant information.
  • Information we collect: Usage data, device information, log data, and cookies.

Refer to the Stackone Data Processing Addendum for more information on how StackOne processes end-customer data.

Any customers that wish to obtain more information about the data collected by StackOne should contact StackOne with any questions relating to the provision of notice and obtaining appropriate consents.

How we use the data that we collect

We use the information that we collect to provide specific services to our customers including for the purposes of providing and improving our Services, customer support, and communication..

We may use aggregated data for purposes such as improving our platform offering and the services that we provide, in addition to creating reports, insights and statistics for our services.

The use of information collected through our service shall be limited to the purpose of providing the Services.


Sharing information with third parties

We share data with third-party partners for the purposes of providing the StackOne services, including but not limited to registered users’ email addresses and device information for the purpose of providing better user experience, in compliance with all applicable data protection laws and regulations.

We may disclose data if we are legally obliged to do so to a third-party buyer or seller in the event that we buy or sell any part of our business or assets. We may also have a duty to disclose this data to comply with legal obligations including disclosure for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.


How do we store the information?

StackOne stores personal data received from our customers and or their customers within the European Economic Area, save where strictly necessary for the performance of our obligations and where such transmission complies with the Data Protection Laws.

How long do we retain data?

We do not retain personal data on individuals, such as email addresses, longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected on behalf of our clients.

Unless specifically requested by a Customer, StackOne shall retain data no longer than 30 days after a Customer has ceased instructing StackOne.

Customer data is retained for as long as the account is in active status. Data enters an “expired” state when the account is voluntarily closed. Expired account data may be retained for up to 90 days. Customers that wish to voluntarily close their account should download their data manually or via the API prior to closing their account.

If a customer account is involuntarily suspended, then there is a 90 days grace period during which the account will be inaccessible but can be reopened if the customer meets their payment obligations and resolves any terms of service violations.

If a customer wishes to manually backup their data in a suspended account, then they must ensure that their account is brought back to good standing so that the user interface will be available for their use. After 90 days, the suspended account will be closed and the data will enter the “expired” state. It will be permanently removed up to 90 days thereafter (except when required by law to retain).

Your rights

StackOne acknowledges that you have the right to access your personal information. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct their query to privacy@stackone.com. If requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Our use of cookies

Our use of cookies is describe in the cookie policy. Cookies specifically set within the StackOne application are under the “app.stackone.com” domain.

Changes to StackOne’s Privacy Policy

StackOne may change this Privacy Policy from time to time and will amend the “Last Updated Date” accordingly. In some instances, we may provide additional notice to you, such as sending you an e-mail notification. All StackOne customers will be notified of any major changes to this policy.

If you disagree with any changes made to the policy and do not wish for your information to continue to be subject to the updated Privacy Policy, do not enter your details or click any further links received from StackOne or use the service. Continued use of the services shall constitute your consent to the changes.
