Simplified Navigation

Managing your StackOne organization is now simpler and nicer. The menu updates add a focus on project-related pages which are more regularly used by users while grouping the organization settings in a contextual menu:

• Project-focused layout, emphasizing the pages you use most often
• New sub-menu to access Organization and account pages (accessible at the bottom of the sidebar via your username).
  
• Contextual information callouts with relevant links to documentation

Fresh Look and Feel

We've given the StackOne Dashboard a modern makeover and made it look and feel a lot more like “StackOne”. The new design is not only much nicer to look at (yes, we’re biased) but it also makes it easier to use..

• Intuitive Interface: Enjoy a clutter-free workspace that helps you focus on what matters most.
• Improved Typography and spacing: Better font choices and sizes, with better spacing both increasing readability and maximizing content displayed in each page.
• Consistent Design Elements: A more cohesive look across all pages, with familiar interaction patterns across the board (use of tabs in page to group related subpages, input based modal confirmation for destructive actions, ellipsis menu for additional actions, breadcrumbs in sub-pages and more)‍

📃 Detailed list of changes

This latest UI release bundles dozens of changes, here's a more detailed outline of each of them:

• Menu & Navigation Updates
  • The project list in the menu now displays the region associated with the project
  • User account settings is now available via the bottom left of the side-menu by clicking on the username
  • Access to organization pages is also in the same context menu
  • Logging out has also been moved to that menu
• Organization Management Updates
  • Security Logs & Organization Authentication settings are now both in the Security organization section
  • Both the MFA settings and the security logs table have fully been redesigned and made information more accessible and readable
  • Rate limit of re-sending an invite to an invited organization member has been lowered from 6 hours to 1 minute
• Project Creation and Settings Updates
  • Project creation page: new design with relevant documentation link
  • Project settings page
    • Project members management and project editing are now in the same section
    • Adding members is done via side panel instead of a modal
    • Ability to edit and delete projects has been moved to the Details tab
• User Account Section
  • This page is now available via the bottom left of the side menu instead of the top right 
  • It's been fully redesign but retains its original features such as changing password and managing your MFA settings
• Other app-wide updates
  • All modals used for destructive actions have been aligned and require input-based confirmation
  • Links to relevant documentation & guides have been added in multiple new pages 
  • New page layout for every page, with rounded edges
  • Breadcrumb removed from top-level pages (eg. webhook listing), bread-crumbs will only show on sub-pages (eg. webhook details page)
  • Typography of titles has been aligned throughout the app
  • Consistent use of ellipsis menu, already present in linked accounts pages and now also used in organization & project settings pages.

This is just the beginning! We'll continue to iterate and take ofeedback and work hard to improve the experience of everyone of our users. Here are some other Dashboard updates to come:
